Hello! You can call me Sam!

It's often said  'A Jack of all trades is a master of none,' most forget that the quote finishes with: 'but oftentimes better than a master of one.' Reflecting on my life, I fully embody this saying, celebrating the 'Jack' in me as a testament to versatility over narrow expertise. Checkout all my pages to learn more about my alter egos.

My Story

Early Life - Here is a little origin story of what got me into computers...

“How is this even possible” a verbatim response as my father exclaimed, marvelling over the fact that I, an eight-year-old could replicate musical melodies with such ease on a toy keyboard, with absolutely no training or experience in the field of music. My foray into the realm of computers was a stunning and beautiful extension of my love for music. A splendid example of “You never know where destiny leads you”.

In search of new music on just another ordinary school night, I stumbled upon something magnificent, something that would alter the trajectory of my future. I discovered Live coding music, a performance art where electronic genres like techno, trance, ambient, and even classical music are crafted in real-time using code. The process is projected in the background for the audience to witness. Known as "Algoraves", a concept that continues to fascinate me to this day. What started off as a passing curiosity evolved into an obsession with the idea of how tunes could be created by means of coding. To top it all off, my love of sci-fi films, particularly Iron Man, piqued my curiosity. On a humorous note, as a teenager, driven by the quote “All great inventions began in a garage”, almost comically, I’d relocated my entire computer setup to my dusty garage in hopes that this would be the origin of the next major tale. Intensive study about how to bring "JARVIS- the virtually human AI" to life or the science behind Iron man’s hologram technology at 2 a.m, in a cellar had me hooked to the digital world. At the time, it was not my poor chemistry grades that hampered a young boy's ambition to become a scientist, but rather an educated understanding of my relationship with the digital world that instilled rationality and creativity in me, encouraging me to plunge deep into the digital universe of programming.
